November…it’s such a great month to have a wedding. Typically the month of November is spent finishing up work from the busy season, preparing for the end of the year, getting everything ready for the holidays, and missing the days I get to spend shooting weddings. This winter? Not so slow for me! I kicked off a string of winter weddings with Christine & Brad’s lovely Mount Horeb event.
I was especially flattered when Christine chose me as her wedding photographer because she had a very discerning eye. She has worked as a wedding photographer, too, and is currently building a brand new business for herself in Florida. To be hired by someone who knows what I do behind the scenes and STILL loves my work is always a huge compliment! Anna & I really enjoyed capturing their day, which was filled with joy & love that warmed up a fairly cold winter day. Enjoy!
I was in LOVE with Christine’s shoes!
Each bouquet had the bridesmaid’s initials on the bottom in rhinestones. SO cute.
I tried not to interfere with this prayer, but it was too lovely not to grab a shot.
Such a cute design for the groom’s bout, don’t you think?
Loved these colors!
Christine’s bouquet is actually made up of four parts, each of which was handed to her by one of her many flower girls & ring bearers as she went down the aisle. Such a unique idea, I loved it!
Despite the cold and wet weather, Christine & Brad were troopers!
I was fortunate to have the lovely Anna along on this wedding. This was my favorite of the shots she grabbed:
The Century Barn is such a GORGEOUS venue. I loved how Christine added so many color pops with her decor!
Greek dancing? Yes please!
Christine and her dad invited all the other fathers & daughters to dance with them. This happy dad was so cute with his two little girls!
This sparkler exit was so much fun. What a fun way to be sent off to your honeymoon, huh?
Thank you Christine & Brad, for hiring us and creating such a lovely day for us to capture!
