A couple of weeks ago, I had a unique opportunity to shoot Crissy & Ken’s wedding for Ari Rosenthal Photography out of Milwaukee.
Ari is a good friend and an excellent photographer with a thriving business in the Milwaukee area- it was an honor to work for him! Cammie accompanied me on Crissy & Ken’s day and we both had a blast shooting their beautiful wedding at the Monona Terrace and the Brink Lounge. The setting for their ceremony took my breath away- the view of the lake was just lovely!
I thought these fan-shaped programs were super cute.
Ken made a dashing groom in his grey suit!
Because the ceremony was later in the afternoon, Crissy & Ken chose to see one another beforehand in a “First Look.” Look at Ken’s huge smile! I love it!
We got right to portraits so we could have things done by the time they went down the aisle.
The weather on the Terrace was perfect.
Want to know a secret? I helped a little with the assembly of Crissy’s bouquet.
It was fun! I think I did OK, what do you think? Crissy’s purple broach was a darling little accent to her wedding attire!
I’m always amazed by the way brides & grooms look at one another on their wedding day. Love & Happiness!!
It’s a good thing we got up on the roof when we did, before another wedding took it over completely.
The harpist that played for the ceremony was absolutely wonderful!
Just look at Crissy beaming!
Gorgeous location, isn’t it?
After the ceremony, Crissy changed into another dress for the reception- with these awesome shoes! Yay!
Gorgeous ensemble, isn’t it? We arrived at The Brink Lounge a tad early and were able to sneak in a few shots.
We randomly found this balloon and I just HAD to grab a shot with it!
Can you find the hidden kiss?
I adored Crissy & Ken’s cake, which was designed after Frank Lloyd Wright’s stained glass windows and was a gift to the bride & groom from one of their amazing guests who has a cake design company in St. Louis.
Crissy called herself an “old school” type of gal because she had this adorable wrist corsage created for the reception. I loved it!
This crowd knew how to dance!
We snuck in one last quick shot before I left with the beautiful staircase at the Brink. Thank you, Crissy & Ken, for having me along as your wedding photographer! And also, thank you to Ari Rosenthal Photography for giving me the opportunity to shoot this beautiful couple’s day.
